Kanye West definitely believes himself to be one of the flyest entertainers in the industry, and a strong argument could be made that he is. So you know someone with Kanye's fashion instincts would have a first lady who's as equally on point. But when I look at this pic of Kanye and his fiance' Alexis Phifer, I have to question Alexis' sense of style. Seriously, look at her shoes! They're horrible. And that pink lipstick is not flattering. I think this outfit would have worked much better if Alexis had worn a different shoe; then the pink lipstick might not have been so distracting. Perhaps it's just that I'm the one who's not fashionably savvy. Maybe I just don't understand. In her defense, I have seen pictures of Alexis on several occasions looking fabulously chic. Hopefully this mishap was just a one time thing.

NO YOU'RE RIGHT..I HATE THOSE SHOES! I SAW ANOTHER CELEB WITH THOSE ON I CANT REMEMBER WHO AT THE MOMENT, BUT THEY ARE HIDEOUS. I LIKE ALEXIS' STYLE BUT THOSE SHOES ARE A NO NO.
The shoes are bulky and the dress is not even cute...it's definitely a fashion faux pas on her part. If she's going to represent especially with Kanye being her man, she should kick it up a notch.

She should have consulted with Kanye's stylist.....OR maybe he should get her one of her own...
The shoes are just fugly. They were actually worn by every model in her runway show, when she presented her new clothing line.
But Alexis doesn't need a stylist; I think she was one herself. She's usually chic and on point, but I usually do have a problem with her makeup, or lacking thereof.
I can let this lapse slide though; but she won't get that many more chances.
