Call me crazy, but I love Vogue's Editor-at-Large, Andre Leon Talley. Andre is what I like to call a grande batch!, someone that other batches! look to for fashion inspiration. I know at first glance, Andre's outfit at the the 2008 CFDA Fashion Awards may seem over the top (it is, lol), but it's also genius at the same time. If you ever needed an example of how to correctly mix colors that shouldn't work, look no further than Andre Leon Talley. The upper portion of ensemble is a color combination that we know works well, pink and grey. But it's the addition of the purple shoes that make this color combination special and provide that extra spark. You have to look at the details in an outfit like this to find ways to make it work for us regular gals.
