Liv Tyler in Givenchy

This Givenchy dress has a lot going on in the neckline area. It's got a bow, one sleeve, and even a keyhole opening. But Liv Tyler manages to keep her look, and this dress, in check by limiting her accessories. By wearing her hair pulled back and not adding any jewelry, Liv allows the dress to take center stage. I like the model's gladiator boots, but on Liv, I think they would have been too much.




Eva Mendes in Christian Dior

This pink and orange Christian Dior creation looks much better on Eva Mendes, than it does on model Chanel Iman. I can't imagine that Chanel's outfit was supposed to have the same fit as Eva's, so I'm assuming Eva's version is modified. Nonetheless, I think Eva looks fabulous. She definitely had one of the best celebrity looks from Paris Fashion Week.




Kerry Washington in Armani Privé

This Armani outfit is truly unique, and not easy to wear, but if any celebrity can make this look work, it's Kerry Washington. I love how all of the colors in the outfit work together. The yellow color in the top blends perfectly with the pastel colors in the skirt. I guess that's how Armani designed it, lol. This outfit is also a lesson in mixing patterns. Different patterns can be mixed, but the prints in the patterns should be different sizes, and their colors should be cohesive.




Mischa Barton in Temperley London

I'm sure you're all familiar with Mischa Barton's fashion mishaps. She just tries so hard to be 'different,' and her style usually suffers for it. I have to give credit where it's due though, because Mischa looks great in this Temerley London gown. The color is great; it's the perfect shade of summer green. And the detailing on the bodice works well with Mischa's quirky style.
