Katie Holmes is constantly trying new trends. First, it was the cuffed peg leg jeans, and then, she was bringing back stirrups. Now, Mrs. Cruise is rocking shorts in the winter paired with tights and calf length boots. Clearly, you've got to be a brave soul to try out this trend, and I think it's one that people will either hate or love. I guess shorts in the winter isn't really that different from wearing skirts in the winter, but somehow it's just not the same, lol. Are you feeling Katie's look? I'll pass. Last time I wore shorts and tights I was about 5 and my mom let me dress myself. I REALLY wanted to wear my shorts that day.
I think she looks cute! I would definitely try it but with tweed shorts. Jean shorts are too summery.

I'll do it. I think it's ok to wear short stuff to -10 with sheen tights.
I wear this look all the time. Especially now since tights have been more stylish and creative.I don't do denim shorts,but I do wear corduroy, gingham, and cargo shorts with thick cable tights are tights with some sort of design on them. I wear what I like, to each its own!
By the way, all I'm missing is a Chocolate Hermes to complete my look!

I like it, she looks cute. She's come a long way from the slave to fashion that she was when she hing with hanging with Mrs Beckham. She doesn't look too try hard and the chocolate Birkin is to die for!
Only thing, i maybe would source a thicker pair of tights. I could rock this look in England with thick tights!
