Pink Lady?...No, It's Mariah Carey

Mariah Carey looked like an extra from Grease as she arrived at the Four Seasons hotel in Paris (we'll let it slide that this is the same outfit she wore on the premiere of The Hills). Mimi's in the city of lights to do some promotion for her latest album, E=MC². You know, many have dogged Mariah's look saying it's both dated and too young for her. I'm willing to give her a bit of a break though, because she missed out on being able to enjoy her twenties. But let's just hope that after a while, Mariah will let her stylist come up with a new look, lol. If you've got the diva attitude to pull off a Mariah look, just pair a form fitting dress (check out American Apparel) with a leather bomber jacket. You might even work it better than Miss Carey herself ;) .

Mariah...The New Face of Pinko

Mariah Carey is the latest face of the Pinko fashion house. For those of you who've never heard of them (like myself), they're a London-inspired fashion brand. Some past faces of Pinko include Elle Macpherson and Naomi Campbell. Of the deal, Mariah had this to say:

"I'm really flattered to have been asked to be the new face of Pinko. I first discovered this spectacular fashion house while working in Italy, in my favourite place in the world, the Isle of Capri, while recording my latest CD The Emancipation Of Mimi."

The ads will be featured in over 700 stores worldwinde, and were shot by photographer Michelangelo Di Battista. Pinko president and founder Pietro Negra said the company had searched for "not only a beautiful woman, but a musical artist, because music is the greatest channel of communication". Personally I think the ads look kind of dated, but that's just me. I'm not mad at Mariah, though. I'm sure she was probably paid a ton of money.
