Hayden Panettiere's Got Short Hair!

hayden-panettiere-short-hair

While Zoe Kravitz is adding length to her short locks, Hayden Panettiere has decided to do the opposite and cut her long hair for the summer. I think this cut has the potential to be really cute, but in these candid shots, it's difficult to tell. I'll refrain from making a style judgment until I see more pics, lol. But what do you think? Have you already decided that Hayden's haircut is a good look?

Looks Like Someone Bought Themselves Some New Hair

zoe-kravitz-long-hair

After sporting a questionable short haircut for the last few months, looks like Zoe Kravitz has decided to go back to wearing her locks long. The aspiring actress was seen leaving the Rose Bar in NYC sporting a new hairdo. I must say that I much prefer Zoe with long hair, although I think the problem with her short cut was the styling. What do you think? Is Zoe better off with long hair? Or should she go back to short hair?

Rachel's Got A Brand New Bang!

rachel-bilson-bangs

One of the easiest ways to make a dramatic change to your hair is to get bangs. It's a simple change, but it often makes a big difference. Rachel Bilson showed off her new hair at the Japanese premiere of her new movie, Jumper. I'm a Rachel Bilson fan, and I think she has one of the best celebrity styles. She hardly ever goes wrong when it comes to fashion, but is she as on point when it comes to hair? I think so; personally I love her bangs, but what to you think?

What?Huh?...Zoe Kravitz Cuts Her Hair

zoe-kravitz-hair-cut-sundance

Zoe Kravitz is truly a beautiful girl, and if anyone could even attempt to pull off this wild haircut, it's her. But the fact is, I don't think it works. I applaud Zoe for her individual style, and the fact that's she's willing to take risks, but is she taking a risk here, or just asking for attention? Either way, it's just hair, and it will grow back. Plus there's a positive to Zoe's new look. The short cut draws attention to her gorgeous face. The girl definitely got the best of her parents' genes. What do you think of Zoe's new look? Am I just being too 'mainstream' and missing the point of the look?

Ashlee Simpson Has New Hair at Cloverfield Premiere

ashlee-simpson-cloverfield-new-hair

Beyonce's not the only one with a new hair color. Ashlee Simpson showed off her new auburn hue at the premiere of monster movie, Cloverfield. I looooove Ashlee's hair color. At first I wasn't sure how I felt about it, but it's grown on me. I'm actually feeling Ashlee's entire look here. It's sophisticated, but details like the berry color of her coat and her black nail polish keep Ashlee looking youthful and fun. What do you think of Ashlee's new look? Does she have a hit on her hands?

Miley Cyrus Has Gone Over To The Darkside

miley-cyrus-dark-hair

Tween megastar Miley Cyrus (aka Hannah Montana) showed off a new hairdo backstage at a Jonas Brothers concert. I love Miley's hair like this. With this new look, she's one step closer to somewhat shedding her Hannah Montana image. The dark hair makes Miley look older and more mature, possibly spreading her appeal to a slightly older audience. With the High School Musical kids, and now Hanna Montana, Disney is definitely bringing in the money.

Rumer's Got New Hair

rumer-willis-long-hair

Rumer Willis was out and about shopping for dresses for her turn as Miss Golden Globe (is that awards show still going on?). And while she she had a great time trying on dresses, she also showed off her latest accessory-- new hair. I have to say that I like the longer hair better on Rumer. I just wish she'd have styled it differently. The unwashed look is hardly flattering. Rumer is aiming to be Hollywood's latest 'it' girl, and with her mega-celeb parents you'd think it would be easy. But hey, she's making it into the celeb mags, so she must be doing something right. To end on a positive note, I do like the black dress she's wearing. It's figure flattering, and one can never go wrong with black.

Christina Ricci Lightens Up

christina ricci - caramel hair

When Christina Ricci first cut her locks off and went with a blunt cut bob, people either loved it or hated it. Christina's a petite girl with a petite face that has delicate features, so the sharpness of her haircut along with the contrast of her black hair against her pale skin was almost a bit too much. But now Christina has lightened up her bob with a new caramel color that brings a warm glow to her face. This color looks fabulous on her. We're so used to seeing Christina with dark hair, it's refreshing to see a bit of change with her. It's amazing what a difference a slight color change can make.

G.I. Mena?...Mena Suvari Pulls A Britney

mena suvari - shaved head
Actress Mena Suvari recently stepped out sporting a new hairdo similar to the one troubled pop star Britney Spears showed off months ago. Mena has gone and shaved her head! No, the former American Beuty star hasn't lost her mind, Mena's shaved her head for a movie role. Garden of Eden, in which Mena has the lead role, will debut in 2008. Britney should take note, because this is how you rock a shaved head. Oversized sunglasses, teardrop earrings, this is the perfect look for such a short hairstyle. Mena looks beautiful as she follows in the footsteps of Demi Moore and Natalie Portman, fellow actresses who've shaved their head for a role. What do you guys think? Does Mena Suvari have the looks to pull off a shaved head?

Katie's Got A Brand New 'Do!

katie holmes new haircut
One of the positive things that came out of Katie Holmes' union with Tom Cruise is her much updated sense of style. Ever since these two got together, Katie's look has almost never failed to disappoint. Here's Katie as she steps out with her hubby sporting a fabulous new haircut. I like this shorter hair on her, Katie's had that one hairstyle (straight, long hair) it seems like forever. When the weather gets warmer, the celebs get scissor happy, and Katie Holmes is the latest to jump on the haircut bandwagon. What do you all think of Katie's new look?

Gasp!...Rihanna's Got A New Cut

rihanna - new haircut
I think we're all in agreement on how much we love Rihanna's asymmetrical bob. It's such a chic and stylish cut; one that's very versatile. Apparently though, Rihanna doesn't care what we think, lol, because lately she's been wearing a new 'do. I think it's cute, and reminds me of Naomi Campbell's bowl cut, but I don't know if I like it as much as the bob. With Rihanna, anything that covers that forehead gets an A+ from me, lol. Just when we fell in love with her look, Rihanna went and switched it up on us. What do you all think? Is this new bowl cut as fabulous as the asymmetrical bob?

The Asymmetrical Bob...Who Rocks It Better?

asymmetrical bob - rihanna - kellie pickler
Rihanna's asymmetrical bob has been a big hit for her. The style has worked wonders in creating a look for her that screams chic. With a look this hot, you knew it was only a matter of time before some other celeb gave it a try. I don't know if Amrican Idol's Kellie Pickler qualifies as a true celeb, but she's the latest to try out this look. I like the cut on Kellie, but her styling is all wrong. I don't know, I think maybe it's curled too tight, lol. But if anything else, Kellie Pickler proves that the asymmetrical bob works even when it's wrong. What do you all think? Did I get it wrong? Does Kellie really look fabulous, and I just missed it?

Katherine Heigl Goes Over to the Dark Side

Katherine Heigl - darker hair
Katherine Heigl is probably most famous for her role as blonde bombshell doctor Izzie Stevens, on Grey's Anatomy. But at the L.A. premiere of her new movie, Knocked Up, Katherine showed off a new, darker hair color. I actually like this light brown color on Katherine. Her usual blonde hair color sometimes washes out her skin. Her darker 'do brings a warmth to her face (or perhaps she's already gotten a start on her summer tan). This summer has definitely proven to be the season of the celebrity hair change. We've seen many different haircuts and hair color, and it's just the beginning of summer. Who knows what's next, lol.

Jessica Simpson Gets Back to Her Roots

Jessica Simpson Cannes film festival blonde hair
The latest celebrity hair trend is to switch up your look after a break up, see Cameron Diaz and Hilary Duff. As the latest member of the lonely hearts club, Jessica Simpson has done just that. Only a day after sporting her now familiar brunette locks, Jessica has gone back to her signature blonde. But this time, Jessica's hair is a darker, honey blonde. Perhaps this is only a transition color to her more traditional yellow blonde. Personally, I prefer the lighter color on Jessica. It better suits both her personality and style. But what do you think? Is Jessica better as a brunette or a blonde?

Five Must Have Celebrity Haircuts for Spring

celebrity haircuts

So far this spring, we've seen so many celeb hairstyles. There's been long layers, short layers, bobs, weaves, color, natural. It's all so much to digest. If you've been thinking of getting a new cut or style for the summer, I've chosen the top five celebrity haircuts that you might want to try. Take a look, a pick out the cut that you think will work best for you.

5. The Pixie Cut
Worn by: Michelle Williams, Selma Blair
Selma Blair Michelle Williams Pixie Cut
The pixie is for the bold batches! out there. For those of you who aren't afraid of change, this cut would be perfect. With something this short, all attention will definitely be on your face. So in the words of Diddy, please make sure you moisturize you situation, lol. Both Michelle and Selma look mod and chic with this haircut, and I'm sure any of you who try will look just as hot. This cut is probably the most dramatic as you can get. If you go for this look, there's definitely no going back. On the plus side though, I'm sure this is extremely easy to maintain.

4. Long Layers
Worn by: Mandy Moore, Jessica Simpson
Jessica Simpson - Mandy Moore - Long Layers
Long Layers are for those who want the slightest of change. You want to get some body in your long locks? Just add a few layers, like Mandy Moore and Jessica Simpson. The layers add volume and body to any hair length, but look exceptional in longer lengths. If you decide you want to go back to a straight and even look, just flat iron your layers. Layers are a subtle change, but they're perfect for those who just want to try something new without the risk of shorter cuts.

3. Shoulder Length
Worn by: Melissa George, Kelly Clarckson
Melissa George - Kellys Clarkson
Perhaps you have long hair, and only want minimal change. Then go shoulder length. This cut is very versatile. You can add soft curls like Alias actress Melissa George, or you can keep it straight and add a side swept bang like Kelly Clarkson. If you're afraid that people won't notice the change, believe me, they will. Cutting off two to three inches of your hair will make just the right difference in your look. It's not too much, of too little. It will be just right.

2. The Inverted Bob
Worn by: Victoria Beckham, Rihanna
Rihanna - Victoria Beckham - Inverted Bob
The inverted bob is perfect for those of you who want to go short, but are afraid of losing your length. You get to have the best of both worlds. In the front, your hair is still longish, and you get the short cut you were afraid of in the back. This looks works for a variety of face shapes, and it's definitely an eye catching look. I rocked this cut last summer, and it made any outfit I wore look trendy and stylish. If you want a change, I definitely recommend this one.

1. Bangs
Worn by: Everyone!
Kate Walsh - Halle Berry - Christina Ricci - Hilary Duff - bangs
Bangs have obviously been big amongst the celebs this season. It seems as though everyone is sporting them right now. The fabulous thing with bangs is, they work for almost anyone, and if you get tired of them, you can just sweep them to the side. Bangs definitely give you the most bang for your buck. Just a little snip, and you've instantly made a noticeable change with your look. Bangs are for those who are really afraid to make a change, but really want to. It's a subtle change, but one that people notice. Plus you have several options if you decide your new bangs really aren't for you. A headband is the number one bang camouflager.

Kate Walsh Rocks Bangs Too!

Kate Walsh - bangs
Grey's Anatomy star Kate Walsh is the latest celebrity to join the "I'm rocking bangs this spring/summer" club. The bangs are a little heavy, but they do work on her. If she just thins them a bit, they'd be perfect. Like Halle Berry, Kate's bangs also make her look younger. But the best part about her new look? It's not permanent. No, she's not wearing a wig like Beyonce, lol, but the bangs are a hair piece. "I'm trying it out. I can't do anything because I'm still shooting the show [Grey's Anatomy]," the actress told People. Do you think Kate should make her new look a more permanent deal?

The Bang Goes On...Hilary Duff Edition

Hilary Duff - bangs

Hilary Duff is clearly trying to establish herself as an emerging style icon. And guess what? It's working, lol. Lately, Miss Duff has been consistently sporting looks that prove the she (or her stylist) has definitely got what it takes to be a fashionista. Here Hilary showed off a new look, one that many other celebs are sporting-- bangs! They look great on Hils, and add to her more mature style. Ever since her break up with Joel Madden, Hilary's style has grown by leaps and bounds. Sometimes heartbreak leaves you feeling a little older.

Spring Hair Trend...The Middle Part

The Middle Part
In addition to bangs and short haircuts, another spring hair trend is emerging on the celebrity scene. If the pics of these celebs are any indication, the middle part will be big this summer. You'd be surprised what a difference a part makes in any hairstyle. Personally, I think that of all the parts there are, the middle part tends to yield the most dramatic results. What's even better, is that the middle part is so versatile. You could go Beyonce's route, and tame your wild curls with a part down the middle, or you could pull a Kerry Washington, and add a middle part to a sleek, flat ironed look. If either of those extremes isn't your style, then a middle part works perfectly with subtle curls and waves. Just check out Amanda Bynes, Hayden Panettiere, and actress Lauren London. With the addition of this latest celebrity hair trend, this summer you'll have plenty of looks to from which to choose.
